Maritza Gomez is a strong advocate of embracing individuality and originality. In 2014, she co-founded MG Custom Printing
with her mother, offering digital decoration for marketing products and personalized gifts. Starting from home, she built her
client base through vendor pop-ups. By early 2021, she had expanded her business to a 1,400 sq ft warehouse. Her mission
is to support the growth of others, providing opportunities similar to those she was given.
Maritza's journey hasn't always been easy. She faced numerous challenges but remained resilient in her pursuit of higher
education and entrepreneurship. Maritza, formerly undocumented, is not only the Founder of MG Custom Printing but also a proud graduate
of California State University, San Bernardino, holding a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in
Entrepreneurship. She actively gives back to her community by hosting workshops on thriving despite various obstacles and sharing
her resources. In addition, Maritza has a strong background in customer service and is a first-generation changemaker, dedicated to
breaking barriers and creating positive change in her community. She is also an ally, providing support and advocacy for others
facing similar challenges.
Her accomplishments have been recognized in various publications, including NAWBO's National newsletter, Small Business Majority,
Voyage LA, Hip Latina, and California State University's newsletter.
Maritza also serves as a business counselor for the Inland Empire Women's Business Center (IEWBC) and was the immediate past
president (2021-2023) for the National Association of Women Business Owners of the Inland Empire Chapter (NAWBO-IE).
